An important point when analyzing eclipses and their effects is to understand that, generally, places where the eclipse is visible will see more effects than places where no visibility happens. It is also important to understand that eclipses have long sprawling effects, instead of immediate ones. New Moons and Full Moons affect the weeks around them, indicating monthly trends; Solar Eclipses and Lunar Eclipses affect the months around them, indicating yearly trends. The effects discussed below are things that will tend to happen in the next 6 months.
Visibility: Europe, Much of North America (specially the East Coast in the US), North/West Africa, Atlantic, Arctic.
Solar Eclipse at 14° Pisces, Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra
This Solar Eclipse happens in Uttara Bhadrapada nakshatra, which can be related to wisdom and wise advisors. It also indicates anything deep, beyond the surface, representing secrets and hidden forces. It is also related to wealth, power and those in high positions.
The Eclipse itself doesn’t get that many aspects, although other interesting things are going on in the chart. First, Saturn is about to change signs, going from Aquarius into Pisces. Second, we have a very tight conjunction of Mercury-Venus-Neptune-Rahu in the earlier degrees of Pisces. A third and final point is that this chart represents the Astrological New Year for 2025-2026, so this Eclipse becomes a central influence for the coming year.
My major prediction about this Eclipse would be a shake-up in regards to boards, advisors or great bureaucratic institutions around the world. The wise elders of our modern times are those working in boards and councils. Sad, but true. It can also relate to judges. So this Eclipse will affect these people and professions.
This could deal with layoffs, budget cuts or restrictions coming their way. Weakness and trouble are indicated. The EU could specially suffer, as the Eclipse path will be very strong in Europe. Similarly, some shifts could happen in the Kremlin in Russia. In the US, the anti-bureaucracy efforts of the new administration could be the big indicator of trouble.
An extra point I could add about the US is that I believe a shift could happen, specially in New York City, with companies moving into other locations or reducing their operations. This will weaken that power center of the country, and create new ones elsewhere.
A final point about this Eclipse deals with the big planetary conjunction mentioned above. With so much centered around Neptune, this is a time of blurry vision and deception. So fantastic stories, illusions and lies will tend to circulate now. This Neptune focus in early 2025 is something I’ve been mentioning for months now.
Still, the Eclipse can deal with some illusions being shattered and great truths being revealed.
On a personal level, this Solar Eclipse is a strong time for intuition and self discovery. Understanding hidden desires, hidden yearnings or problems in our lives is easier now.
